Poetry Group Chairman

Certain members of our Sir Branch have been encouraging us to develop some Poetic activities in our Branch. So far three members have joined us in our poetry action (Galen Dunham, Kurt Heilman, and myself). The current members of the poetry group are wanting to expand our poetry membership and show others our thoughts and variations on poetry. The activities of the group are to understand the various things involved in developing poetry. Poems are not all the same in terms of size, rhyming or not rhyming, and lots of other things. If anyone is interested in joining us to explore the many aspects of poetry and learn how to write your own poems, please contact Jack Fuller at jack.fuller@mail.wvu.edu or by calling me at 415-7987322.
You may wonder what kind of background do you need to write poetry? Any academic or real-life experiences are quite suitable. I myself have degrees in electrical engineering and applied mathematics, which do not seem related to poetry. But, I love to write poems. Here is a poem I recently wrote. Sincerely, Jack Fuller
